It’s no secret that having the right display can make or break your gaming experience. But finding a good gaming monitor can be a daunting task. To help you make the right decision, here are seven tips for finding the best gaming monitor.

First and foremost, consider the refresh rate. Refresh rate is an important measure in terms of picture smoothness and stability. Generally, gaming monitors have higher refresh rates, ranging from at least 75 Hz to over 300 Hz. The higher, the better, but don’t forget to also factor in the monitor’s other specs when making a decision.

Second, look for HDR (High-dynamic range) capabilities. HDR provides a much wider range of luminosity and colours, resulting in deeper and richer in-game visuals. However, not all HDR monitors are equal, so make sure you check the specs carefully.

Third, consider response time. Response time is the measure of how quickly a monitor can display changes in images. For gaming, you want the lowest response time possible, typically 1ms or less.
